Anne began her yoga journey in college as a way to maintain the flexibility she developed as a competitive dancer. While the physical practice first drew her in, it was later in adulthood that she formed a deeper, more meaningful connection to yoga.
As her practice grew, so did her desire to share it with others. In October 2023, she completed her RYT 200 training at Shambhava Yoga Shoshoni, an ashram and yoga school in Colorado.
Anne practices yoga because it brings a profound sense of peace and joy into her life. Her intention as a teacher is to create that same experience for her students. She hopes each person leaves class feeling grounded, calm, and centered in their own heart.
She holds close the words of Bhagawan Nityananda: “The heart is the hub of all sacred places. Go there and roam in it.”
