Frequently Asked Questions
-
It depends on what you’re looking for. We generally recommend Stretch + Flex as a great starting point. S1 Flow or Gentle Flow are also excellent for beginners who want to learn postures by name while connecting breath to movement and building strength and flexibility. Hot 60 follows the same temperature and sequence every time, making it a reliable place to begin the traditional 26 + 2 series. If you prefer something slower and more restorative, Yin + Meditation or Restorative are gentle, supportive options. Remember — for some people slowing down is more challenging than working hard, and for others movement is the bigger stretch. We encourage you to read the class descriptions and choose what feels right for you.

At Studio One Yoga, we are committed to providing a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all who walk through our doors. Our Code of Conduct reflects both our community values and the foundational principles of yoga. We ask all clients, teachers, and staff to uphold this shared standard so that every person feels safe, respected, and supported.
Studio Code of Conduct
Core Principles
Our Code of Conduct is rooted in the ethical foundations of yoga, especially:
Ahimsa (Non-Harming): We meet one another with kindness, respect, and care in every interaction.
Asteya (Non-Stealing): We honor one another’s time, space, energy, and boundaries.
Saucha (Purity/Care): We tend to our shared studio with mindfulness and show up with clean, respectful conduct so everyone can feel comfortable and supported.
Community Expectations
To help keep Studio One a safe, welcoming, and grounded space for everyone, we ask that you:
Respect personal space and consent. Please ask before any physical contact, including hugs or hands-on adjustments.
Be mindful in your interactions. Avoid unsolicited advice, over-familiarity, or hovering in another person’s practice or personal space.
Honor the quiet of the studio. Keep voices low and move with awareness before, during, and after class.
Arrive clean and considerate. Wear fresh clothing and avoid heavy fragrances out of care for others.
Support each person’s experience. Let every student practice in their own way without pressure to socialize, conform, or participate beyond what feels right to them.
Commitment to Safety and Belonging
At Studio One Yoga, all are welcome — no matter your background, body, identity, or level of experience. We are committed to creating a space where you can feel safe, seen, and free to explore your practice with honesty and curiosity.
This Code of Conduct is meant to grow with us as our community evolves. Thank you for showing up with care, respect, and openness, and for helping us co-create a studio where everyone can truly breathe, move, and connect.
