Megan practiced yoga casually for years to complement her fitness routine, but in 2009 her relationship with the practice deepened. After moving back to New York City, navigating a broken engagement, and losing a job opportunity, yoga became her anchor. It was on her mat that she discovered the principle of Sakshi — witnessing without judgment or attachment — and began to experience profound physical and mental shifts.
She completed her first teacher training with Bikram in Los Angeles in 2013 before moving to the Twin Cities to teach full time and be closer to family.
Megan is especially passionate about alignment and functional movement. Alongside her yoga training, she has studied Pilates, Postural Restoration, and Functional Range Conditioning. She understands the power of a consistent practice and balances precision with lightness, believing yoga should build strength while still leaving room for joy.
